So Damn Damn Damn! its been a crazy year! and its been an even longer time since i gave ya'll some love on this blog, but i promise I'm back in the game, but i wanted to give you guys and dolls my opinion and suggestions for my top 5 albums of 2012. this year it is urban as hell, lol, very R&B and Hip Hop heavy, so you better love some flava!!!!!!! so lets get down to buisness.


Big Boi: Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors. This album blew my mind, and although its not flawless, its near perfect in my eyes. it flows good with the exception of two songs, but its worth ur buck, or bucks ;) it features some of my favorite artist like KID CUDI, Little Dragon, and the highly underrated  Kelly Rowland (Destiny's Child).

RIHANNA: Unapologetic, NOW i am a DIE HARD marine from the rihanna navy, i think she can do no wrong, BUT les be annas! TTT (talk that talk) was a weak ass album, and though i like a buttload of songs off that album, i know when to say, man riri you need to up ur game, and i think this bitch knew and she brought it with this album. it flows from one end to the end starting off with a sick David G. track "Phresh Off The Runway" and ending with a coldplayesque bow out "Half Of Me" if you are not even a fan of Rihanna, you will find something off this album. she went less sexual and more fun on this return and I'm in love.

Frank Ocean: Channel Orange, If I Had To Pick The Top album of the year, it would be this, channel orange has thought, and heartbreak, and i have been through it this year, i connect with it, not so much the songs about crack rock, but the songs about unrequited love lol. from the intro to the outro this album delivers, if you like soul and story telling, this songwriter is a genius.

BRANDY: TWO ELEVEN, Brandy had been out of the game for a minute, but damn did she comeback with this album, its a mix of new and old "B Rocka" she worked with Mike Will Made it, Frank Ocean, and Chris Brown, on this album and it all came together perfectly in my eyes, i enjoyed this album a lot this year and i am so happy to have this woman back in my ipod.

RIHANNA- TALK THAT TALK REVIEW

Today Marks The Release of Rihanna's 6th studio album "TALK THAT TALK" It Opens with "You Da One" Im a big fan of this song, only because it feels like the perfect mash-up of my two favorite RiRi tracks, "Rude Boy", and "Whats My Name", It's cute, fun, light, and of course when you hear it you just wanna feel that for someone, and if you are seeing someone lol watch out! this track has potential to develop a fatal attraction, i dig this track alot. The Next Track Is "Where Have You Been" this acoustic Trance track, is gonna be her third single no doubt, Dr. Luke, i bow down to your vision of a track, its amazing! this track on the breakdown is so fun to just lose yourself in. LOVE. which bleeds into "WE FOUND LOVE" This is still my favorite track on the album, it means alot to me, to me its about wanting love so badly that you just go with the flow, for me love really is a drug, i wanna live in that great moment, and i let it blind me for the time being. the track is so bittersweet, its almost painful to listen to, but like love, i want to experience it over and over. "TALK THAT TALK feat JAY-Z" is the next track, its like an "Umbrella" reunion" this track samples the NOTORIOUS B.I.G.'s "i gotta story to tell" this is a track that sounds like it would have been on "Rated R" I'm a fan, it seems a little out of place on the album, but I'm still feeling the final cut of the album picks. "COCKINESS" is up next and lemme tell ya its all about the word usage, "Suck My Cockiness, Lick My Persuasion" lmfao "I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT WHEN YOU EAT IT" this is a great dance hall beat, show ur colors gurl! I'm down for this song any day. it makes me happy like a clam. and what girl is not gonna bump this beat, fuck just girls! men you know you like it too :) "BIRTHDAY CAKE" not long but short n sweet, so technically, its NOT "Big Enough" but it can be my rude boy. and I'm a fan of, CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE. and being someones BITCH! "WE ALL WANT LOVE" I'm seriously in love with this song, i feel like a wrote this song, i have a song with similar lyrics, and when i heard this, i just smile, cause i think this is a vulnerable song to write, or let alone sing and make it yours. great track, next is "DRUNK ON LOVE" again, a bayley track, first off she samples a track that, we'll speaks to me, so I'm thankful, and then just puts it all in the speaker with the best lyrics, i wear my heart on my sleeve too! damn! is she speaking to me? "ROC ME OUT" this dance guilty pleasure is great, who hasn't been drunk and feelin like a little slut on the dance floor, i love it. "WATCH N' LEARN" is my second favorite track, yeah i know its about a girl gettin eaten out, lol but a boy can dream, "FAREWELL" the song about letting go, i love this song for presenting a situation that actually happens, its a great song, and i know this will be a single. tears for days!!!!! wah!      ******* BONUS TRACKS******* "RED LIPSTICK, this song is the motha fuckin BOMB!!!!! i heard this and i was instantly in love, dub-step heavy, and sexy metal, yessir!! i will have sex to this song. bring it! "Do Ya Thang" this song is all about being comfortable with the guy ur with, knowing that love is there and not trippin off the small shit, you and ur boo are true blue! that's the direction of this track, and i love it. "FOOL IN LOVE" great ballad, and vocals are insane, she even does a BEYONCE run!!! lol this is what Britney was going for in 'criminal" worst single of the year BTW. 

DRAKE: TAKE CARE REVIEW

So Drake Has Done it again, this mother fuckin Canadian, has blown it out the water! Jay-Z and Kanye, better watch the throne, because i think Drake is stealing album of the year this time around. the tracks are fresh, the samples, are fun, and the lyrics are relatable. 

The Album Opens with "OVER MY DEAD BODY" a little bragging rights song, perfectly constructed, with a beautiful melody, and ambient flow, i heart this track, the track bleeds into the next "SHOT FOR ME" which is my favorite, only because if i was famous, i would wanna haunt someone like Drake does in this track. rarely do i relate with rap artists, not that i don't understand, but its just they are living a life so alien to me i just nod my head and bounce to the beat, i ain't no baller! but Drake raps about shit that people and young adults have gone through. hits home. the next track is the Famous "HEADLINES" this already on the airwaves hit, has a sick ass beat, beginning to end, a fat flow, and not one guest artist. "CREW LOVE feat. THE WEEKEND" is up next and might i say DAAAAAAAAAAAMN! this is a sick composition. the vocals steal my heart and soul on this one. "they lovin the crew!" the second half of this song develops the best relaxing beat and switch. I'm in love. The Next track "TAKE CARE feat. RIHANNA" is one of those songs that slapped me in the face with realism, i have been through every second of this song, and recently too. i love love love this track. "I've loved and I've lost" "MARVIN'S ROOM" is the next track, and who doesn't relate to the feeling of hatred toward your ex's rebound, its painfully awkward, only because he captures a feeling that many of us have had at one point. its an essential song. I'm down, i love it, I'm fallin in love deeper listening to this album all over again. "BURIED ALIVE INTERLUDE" is a sick sick sick flow, if you wanna hear some great Drake Shit, this is it! i was stopped in my damn tracks! its off and weird, and eerie, and i just love it, my second fave track on this album. sad it so short!!!!! "UNDERGROUND KINGS" great beat great track, a instant great hit. "WE'LL BE FINE" i love this beat alot, Drakes shit is hawt! but i have never been a huge birdman fan, the flow about nicki and fame it catchy. birdman should say Nigga more lol. "MAKE ME PROUD" is probably the most Pop-like song on the album, the fourth song i ever heard, but oddly one of my least favorites now, its great but in comparison to the rest its def bottom three, Nicki can never do wrong, and the beat is sexy and simplistic. "LORD KNOWS feat. RICK ROSS" this one sounds like a "Watch The Throne" knock off lol i skipped it, bored to death. , "Look Like"CAMERAS/GOOD ONES GO INTERLUDE" this is a great song to me We're in LOVE, But Only On Camera" "DOIN IT WRONG" a great heartbreaking song, just raw and real, and again I Connect Wonder is epic, ugh this track breaks my heart :( wah! "THE REAL HER" is up next i dig this track, nothing amazing just a good listen. WEEZY good rap! you saved the track in my eyes. but wait! what? huh? ANDRE 3000? oh hell yes! his verse is BOMB.COM he has risen!!!!!! love it best guest spot on this album, hands down! "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE" I love the lounge sound of this song, make the setting real, i wanna picture Drake sittin at a piano singing and people just drinking champagne. to me channeled ANDRE 3000 on this track, his flow is very sophisticated and poignant. "HYFR (HELL YA FUCKIN RIGHT) feat LIL WAYNE" I know this is gonna be a big favorite only because "Weezy" is on it, but i think there are way better singles on this album. but we shall see, i think this Drake album has a alot of gas to make this a long race. "PRACTICE" is a fuckin great sample, rarely do i feel like someone can improve an original view of a song........Drake has done it. he took Juvenile's track "Back That Ass Up" and made it faaaaantastic. "THE RIDE" follows and its old school hooks and classic. "THE MOTTO feat LIL WAYNE" eh. "I HATE SLEEPING ALONE" great ending to this future epic platinum album. DRAKE thank you! i enjoyed every bit of this masterpiece, NOV 15th 2011.

So Rihanna Has topped herself again, with her newest video on her up coming album "TALK THAT TALK" its a gritty, and realistic look, at how a damaging relationship when ur in it, can feel comforting, and when its all over, you would almost do anything to go back just to experience the good that was in all the bad. it a dark deep video, and it hits home to many. by far my favorite video, it shows a great new adult side to Rihanna, that i think even the un-fans will love

Sultry pop star Rihanna is known to heat things up, but things got a little too hot at her Dallas show Friday night, according to People.com. During the performance of her latest single, "California King Bed," a small fire broke out in the lighting rigs above the stage, sending sparks near the performer. 
The stage crew quickly extinguished the fire, and the crowd of 12,500 were then evacuated from the American Airlines Center. No one was hurt. Rihanna tweeted about the incident later that night. "DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!!," she wrote. "I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!" She added that she was meeting her tour crew to "to find out exactly what happened." Dallas fans will se her again soon however. "Glad you guys are safe!!!" she wrote. "I promise I'll be back!!!"

Singer Rihanna has told Rolling Stone magazine she agreed a judge could ease a stay away order against her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown over a violent altercation two years ago because she didn't want to hurt his career.The 23-year-old told the music magazine it was "my decision" not to object to a Los Angeles judge's decision in February to downgrade a restraining order keeping Brown, 21, 50 yards away from Rihanna -- 10 yards at music industry events."It doesn't mean we're gonna make up or even talk again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge," she told the magazine in an excerpt published Wednesday.The singer added she had his music career in mind."We don't have to talk ever again in my life," she said. "I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing -- it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows -- that definitely made it difficult for him."Rihanna's blunt admissions are a stark contrast to Brown, who last week threw an angry tantrum in his dressing from of a U.S. morning chat show after clamming up when an interviewer brought up the topic of his 2009 assault on Rihanna.

Rihanna told Rolling Stone she put up a front in public after the assault."I put my guard up so hard. I didn't want people to see me cry. I didn't want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, 'I'm fine, I'm tough.' Always Was A tiny Fan Of Chris, but all recent events aside, i am giving my full honest review, I am currently streaming, the whole album, from my XBOX radio, and so far its completely void of the rage monster that was at the Good Morning America performance. it opens with the widely popular "Deuces" which i am also a fan of, the next track is a little stereotypically R&B sounding, any artist could have made "Up To You" That song leads into a more upbeat mid-tempo track called "NO B.S." completely racy and sexual, and it sounds as if he has never been in a English classroom. Not a fan of track 3. "Look At Me Now" is after, and i don't know if he wants credit as a rapper, but i think he raps for about 15 seconds, then handsoff the surprisingly impressive rap baton to BUSTA RHYMES who blows it out the water! "She Aint You" (English soooo bad) which samples SWV's "RIGHT HERE" is probably my favorite track so far. its a nice slick beat, but hes not doing much but lying his own lyrics in the exact same fashion on an already popular 90's HIT which also featured Michael Jackson. NOT IMPRESSED yet "Brezzy" lmfao is that a real nickname? anyways lets move on. "Say It With Me" is the next bringing a club beat and guetta knock-off rhythm's, I LOVE IT!!! lol damn u got me on this one!!!! it a good dance track. onto track 7 "Yeah 3x" I'm not really a fan of this song, it kinda sounds like.......hmmmmm a vengaboys track, remember them WE LIKE TO PARTY! lol or a continuation to that doubblement gum song he did. whatever maybe someone will film a wedding to this song too. so right now I'm looking at the album like you would a crazy person, hes all cocky and evil and violent in the first half, then turn all sentimental, its so far inconsistent, "Next To You" is sweet & cute, yadda yadda yadda, "All Back" is the following track i honestly only listened to one line, and had to skip the track because the radiant stench of bullshit was steaming out the speakers. No i literally Lol'd at the title of the next track "Wet The Bed" which is obviously about chris eating a girl out.............................uh!.................ok moving onward!!!  the next song is "Oh My Love" has a bomb intro i dig the beat, and layers. I'm diggin it, I'm feelin it. i give this one a Babble stamp of approval. (BSOA) track 12 "Should've Kissed You" ok its cute, lol its aight! "Beautiful People" has a sick ambient, sound and i fucking love the first vocals on it, insanely awesome sound mixing. another BSOA. kudos to the producers of this track. The next track, so you don't get Chris Brown confused with any homosexuals is called "Love The Girls" Nice middle eastern beats, sounds a little "keri hilson-ish" which i love. its an okay track. I'm a fan of the "Travis barker" drum beats in the center of the song. "Paper, Scissors, Rock" has a sick Step Troupe beat reminiscent of "HOLLERBACK GIRL" but then TIMBO aka. "Timbaland" comes in and ruins it for me, sorry readers, i hate "Timothy Mosely" as an aspiring producer i probably should steer clear of hating, but I DON'T CARE NONE! the last song "Beg For It" a nice song, to skip. overall out of 17 tracks i liked 2 alot and two soso. id say sample it on itunes. but go with my Stamps (BSOA) to be safe ;) til next review! Video – Rihanna has debuted her new video for “Who’s That Chick.” The video made its way online today but has had a tough time staying on the popular video hosting sites due to copyright claims. It is not clear if the single will be the lead off of her new album, or if it is just a random video that was shot for a follow-up single.Rihanna has said that she is using Michel Jackson’s “Thriller” album as a lead to follow for her upcoming CD, and has said that she will cut all of the excess material off of the track list, leaving her fans with only the best that she has to offer.

Loud is the upcoming 5th studio album by Barbadian R&B singer Rihanna, scheduled to be released on November 16, 2010, on Def Jam Recordings. Recordings began in February 2010 for a period of six months, concluding in August 2010.The news came up in June 2010 that Rihanna is recording for her fifth studio album which is set to be released at the end of 2010, soon after the North American leg of her Last Girl on Earth Tour finishes and that it aims to rival Michael Jackson's Thriller. Taio Cruz, Alex da Kid, Sean Garrett, Ne-Yo, Rico Love and Timbaland have all claimed to have worked on the album. On August 12, 2010, Rihanna said that her fifth album would be "strong, fun and sassy".Rihanna shot the cover art for the album on August 26, 2010 in the Hamptons. On August 27, 2010 the release date of the album was announced to be November 2, 2010 but it was later scheduled for November 16, 2010. On September 4, 2010 Rihanna spoke about her new album. "I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it.” she said. She added “I didn’t want to go backward and remake ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it’s perfect for us”. She also told “I’m done recording the whole album”. On September 7, 2010 she declared the name of the album to be "Loud".

"Only Girl (In the World)",a dance record was reported to be released as the lead single from the album. The report's sources told "Looks like no more dark music, back to Umbrella Rihanna". The song premiered on September 7, 2010 on Ryan Seacrest's radio show and on September 21, 2010 will be sent to US Mainstream and Rythmic Radio. On September 4, 2010 Rihanna revealed “Only Girl is a bigger sound than ‘Rude Boy’”. It is to be released on iTunes on September 21, 2010. At the same time she spoke about her second single. She told “[It] will be even bigger than Only Girl.” Speaking of "Cheers" a source told "What I heard blew me away: It's upbeat, happy party music. I think on her last album, listeners liked the darker stuff, but they didn't love it. This is a return to the fun stuff." oh and i posted the song at the end :)
