BABBLE NETFLIX REVIEWS: SOURCE CODE

So Recently i received, the movie "SOURCE CODE" via NETFLIX, and lemme say, i was surprised at how intrigued i was from the first 5 minutes. so if ur not a fan of quantum physics and impossible scenarios and ideas of theories about time travel and time replacement, then skip this movie, it ain't for you. the thing about this movie, is if you get through ten minutes, ur hooked, cause you wanna know what happens, basically Jake gyllenhall is Army helicopter pilot Colter Stevens sexy as fuck, and last aware of being on a mission in Afghanistan, wakes up on a commuter train traveling to Chicago. He finds that to other people – including his traveling partner Christina Warren (Michelle Monaghan) – he appears as Sean Fentress, a school teacher. As he comes to grips with this revelation, the train car explodes, killing everyone aboard and derailing it and a tanker train traveling the other direction. when his sexy self regains consciousness inside an unfamiliar cockpit. Through a screen, Air Force Captain Colleen Goodwin (Vera Farmiga) verifies Stevens' identity. She explains Stevens is in the "Source Code", an experimental device created by Dr. Rutledge (Jeffrey Wright), scientist for Beleaguered Castle (a military unit named after the card game), that allows its user to experience the last eight minutes of a person's life within an alternate timeline. Stevens is being asked to use Source Code to discover the location of a bomb aboard the train and identify who detonated it. Goodwin explains that the train explosion occurred that morning, and was a warning by the bomber as a precursor to a larger dirty nuclear device that will be detonated in downtown Chicago. Though Stevens' actions cannot change the past and save the lives aboard the train, identifying the bomber in the alternate timeline will prevent the deaths of millions more in this one.
its a bit of a mind trip, and can be a tad bit confusing at times, but it all comes together nicely, out of 10 i give the flick a 7, def a netflix rental, and good enough to buy, ON BLU RAY. check it out!

BABBLE GETS DEPTH: Yoshi aint no Dinosaur

Japan's parliament elected Yoshihiko Noda as the country's new prime minister Tuesday, making him the country's sixth new leader in five years.
Noda won 308 out of 476 possible votes.
The prime minister-elect will officially take over his new post after a ceremonial endorsement by Japan's emperor, which is expected to happen Wednesday.
Ahead of the vote, former Prime Minister Naoto Kan officially submitted his resignation, as did his Cabinet, clearing the way for Noda's election.
The Democratic Party of Japan, the country's ruling party, picked Noda as its new leader on Monday. He served as finance minister in Kan's cabinet.
In his first speech as party leader, Noda called for party unity to tackle Japan's massive problems.
"Running Japan's government is like pushing a giant snowball up a snowy, slippery hill," he said Sunday. "In times like this, we can't say, 'I don't like this person,' or 'I don't like that person.' The snowball will slide down."
On Friday, Prime Minister Kan announced that he would resign. His approval rating had tumbled following the devastating March earthquake and tsunami that triggered the worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl as reactor cores overheated and spewed radioactive material into surrounding areas.
An observer of Japan's revolving door of prime ministers said the country's political problems are weighing down one of the world's largest economies.
Japanese politicians lack spine and public support, said Keith Henry of the Tokyo-based Asia Strategy, a government policy consulting firm.
"They've got to turn the ship around 180 degrees," Henry said. "Until they see an iceberg, they're not going to do it."
Japan is facing a massive reconstruction program in the region devastated by the tsunami, an ongoing nuclear energy crisis and unaddressed problems in the economy.
Noda, a fiscal conservative, has pledged to raise taxes and would like to privatize state assets.
Last week, the credit rating agency Moody's downgraded Japan to an Aa3 rating from Aa2, blaming the country's huge deficit and frequent changes in administration that have prevented the government from implementing long-term economic policies.
The CIA World Factbook puts the government debt at more than 200% of the GDP.

Roman's Revenge

After bagging the Best Hip Hop Video Moon Man for "Super Bass," female rapper and spit-personality diva, Nicki Minaj sauntered back to the VMA press room for some photos and a quick interview, where she dropped a few details about her forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album.
The short of it: It's gonna be filled with her alter ego Roman.
"Well, the new album is going to have a lot of Roman on it, and if you're not familiar with Roman, you will be familiar with him soon," Minaj revealed.
On her first album, Pink Friday, Minaj's alter-ego Roman showed up on a track, "Roman's Revenge," that she did with Eminem. If you remember, many took lyrics in "Revenge" to be a side-slap to fellow female rapper Lil' Kim. and lets not try and sugar-coat it, it was.
Continued Minaj about Roman and her album: "He's a boy who lives inside of me," she said. "I have a lot of surprises I don't want to give away. Everyone will be more than satisfied with the new album."
About that crazy outfit she was wearing, Minaj explained to the press: "Tokyo inspires this outfit. Harajuku is something I have been absorbing for a very long time."

PORTAL Short film FANTASTIC!

so if you are a colossal video game geek like i am and you have played or know the concept of the hit "Portal" i suggest you watch this doozie of a film, its amazingly thought out. kudos! i love it. you will too.

SUPER SUPER SUPER!!!!!

Warner Bros. Pictures released the first image from the upcoming "Man of Steel," starring Cavill in a new version of the Superman saga, now set for release on June 14, 2013. The movie boasts an all-star cast, including Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.
For those wondering how the new sexy and stunning Henry Cavill would look in the iconic Superman suit, wonder no more. cause i found his fine ass dressed up in that super alien outfit.
First photos tend to set the tone for the film and judging from this, Zack Snyder's film could give us more of a brooding version of the Son of Krypton (perhaps not unlike the recent trailer for "Amazing Spider-Man").
The image draws a lot of attention to his cape, and - at least based on the way the photo is lit - the suit is less colorful than we're used to. but im sure all the women and gays out there dont care about that damned outfit, all you wanna see is Clark nekkid! PERVS!
One thing is for sure, he's definitely not wearing a shirt and jeans like some images of the new version of Superman in the comics in September. BLAH!
What do you think of this first image? Are you excited to see the "Man of Steel" back on the big screen in two years?

Misfits is Bomb!!!

Okay now if ur a fan of heroes, lost, or the BBC's SKINS, then i suggest you get ur dumb American head out your ass, and you start watching Misfits on HULU now!!!!!, don't get left behind, while this show sweeps America by storm. this show across the pond has already scored the best drama BAFTA award, and has become a hit in the UK, so what the fuck is the show about? well. Misfits follows five early-20s delinquents on community service in Wertham (a fictional borough in London) who are caught outside during an electrical thunder storm and acquire special powers. Kelly (Lauren Socha) gains the ability to hear the thoughts of others, Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) can rewind time after experiencing an immense sense of regret, Alisha (Antonia Thomas) sends people into a sexual frenzy when they touch her skin, she is by far my fave misfit Simon (Iwan Rheon) can become invisible, and Nathan (Robert Sheehan) at first demonstrates no power. the show is fanasticly written, takes its time with the storyline, and the acting is believable and touching.

British reviews have been very positive. The Times gave it four out of five stars, calling it "a new union — salty British street humour with whizz-bang special effects" which should "keep E4's core audience happy". An online review by The Guardian said that it was "confident enough to operate in its own universe and set up something new" and that it was aimed at showing us "real people" rather than the stereotype of the "ASBO teenager". The Guardian's print reviewer was also enthusiastic, saying: "Misfits is indeed silly — sillier, even, than it sounds — but it's also brilliant: sharp, funny, dark and, in places, quite chilling. Both the writing and the performances ensure that everything but the preposterous central premise remains entirely believable." The Daily Telegraph drew special attention to Howard Overman's script which, it said, "sparkled from the off, introducing his posse of social outcasts as a bunch of total losers, but each one distinctively and memorably so."
The Irish media have also been impressed with the show. The Evening Herald called the debut episode "dark, hilarious, exciting and beautifully produced". It went on to say that "the spark comes from Overman's razor-sharp script, yet a lot of the credit also has to go to the well-chosen young cast, who are uniformly superb."
In Australia, the Boxcutters television review was more laconic: "Misfits ... is filled with unattractive and very annoying characters and is essentially Skins meets Heroes. So why do we find it so strangely compelling?"

Lohan Does Crystals not Crystal! DUH!

Video of Lindsay Lohan sitting outside a Venice Beach, California, triggered a bitter squabble between her publicist and an online gossip editor Thursday.
X17online hinted the video secretly recorded from a nearby car showed something fishy going on between Lohan and several men, including the exchange of a plastic bag and some cash.
Steve Honig, whose job it is to protect Lohan's reputation, accused the website of "knowingly and consciously made inferences about Lindsay that are completely untrue."
"If they had taken the time to look into this a little bit further, they would have found out that the bag contained crystals from a local shop in Venice," Honig said in a statement to CNN.
X17online's Brandy Navarre, in her statement to CNN, thanked Honig for calling attention to her site's video, but she insisted her report "never implied anything about the transaction Lohan appeared to make on the street in Venice Tuesday afternoon."
The report was revised to reflect Honig's statement that the bag exchanged was filled with crystals after Lohan's publicist provided his statement, Navarre said.
"X17online is not reporting anything false nor are we suggesting anything negative about Lindsay Lohan in this post," she said. "The only 'inferences' about what could be happening in the video come from Ms. Lohan's publicist."
Another celebrity news website, RadarOnline, took Lohan's side in interpreting the video. Reporter Jen Heger told CNN that she verified the bag contained crystals and nothing nefarious.
The man who gave her the bag, in daylight on a busy sidewalk, was walking his dog.
Lohan, who spent several months in drug rehab last year, was recently released from strict drug testing requirements by the judge overseeing her probation for drunken driving.
Photographers often follow Lohan, who lives in Venice Beach, as she shops, dines and parties around town. The resulting video and photographs sometimes bring thousands of dollars for the freelance paparazzi when they sell them to online gossip sites, where they can draw valuable web traffic.

The Horrible Life In The Hills

Former stars of “The Hills” Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt now wish they could take back their fame-hungry antics.
Perhaps better known as “Speidi," the two skyrocketed to dubious fame in 2006 with MTV’s faux-reality show “The Hills.” But soon they were in over their heads with photo shoots and publicity stunts, and around 2009 things started winding down.
And according to the Daily Beast, they're now broke and living at Spencer's parents' beach house.
As their celebrity started to veer left of the spotlight, the duo admits they played into fake tabloid stories about their relationship. “We’ve never even been apart,” Heidi says of their breakup plot lines. “We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine,” Spencer adds.
As for the money, they say it went out as quickly as it came in. “My whole million-dollar wardrobe — I would never wear that again,” says Spencer. “They’re props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props. I bought a big blue monster truck just to drive it on 'The Hills' for an episode. Never drove it again.
And of course, there were Heidi’s many surgeries. “Obviously I wish I didn’t do it,” she now says of her multiple rounds of over 13 procedures, including a chin reduction, a brow lift, buttock augmentation, and breast implants.
Family issues were also stirred up by their bid for fame. Spencer claims a producer on the show tried to coax him into punching his sister in the face for “that Snooki effect” (a.k.a., the ratings boost “Jersey Shore” got when Snooki was punched). Heidi, meanwhile, no longer speaks to her family. (Her support system consists of Spencer and her puppies, she says.)
We were living each other’s mistakes," Spencer says of the whole reality star experience. "[E]verything we were doing, in retrospect, was a mistake...What we learned is: You can be too famous.”
Yet and still, Spencer admits, “If they called me right now and said, ‘We want you to be on 'Jersey Shore'  and be a bully, and we’ll bring your paycheck back,’ I’d say, ‘Get me on a plane to Italy.’

JEN+JUST

Jennifer Aniston is quite busy being not-so-busy. The actress, who's taking a breather from work to enjoy herself, make a cross-country move and spend time with her new love, Justin Theroux, enjoyed a healthy mix of all of the above this past weekend.
On Friday evening, Aniston threw an intimate farewell bash at her recently sold Beverly Hills mansion, the dream house she took a heavy hand in designing -- in the process landing herself the cover of Architectural Digest.
"Jen had ... a little going-away party since she plans on spending so much more time in New York," a source told People.
"She just wanted to have one more great get-together with friends at the house before she moved out," the insider added, confirming that Theroux was in attendance.
On Sunday, Aniston and Theroux jetted off to a private island in Hawaii, where they were spotted at an airport rocking purple leis. After some fun and sun, Aniston will presumably make her transition from Los Angeles to NYC, where she's snatched up a few choice properties.
