GAGA BITCHES WINTOUR OUT...KINDA

Lady Gaga should probably add Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's name to her contacts list. When the 25-year-old "Edge of Glory" singer appeared at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, Gaga shared an embarrassing story involving the famed fashionista during her acceptance speech.
"I can't believe I'm allowed in here. When I was told I won this award, Anna Wintour sent me a text message," Gaga said, pausing for dramatic effect. "She text messages."
After the crowd cheered, Gaga continued to recount her awkward conversation with Wintour. "So she sent me a text message, and it said, 'We're so excited to tell you you won the CFDA fashion icon award.' And I actually thought it was Anna Treblin, who was one of my very close friends and [my stylist] Nicola's assistant, who I go out and have drinks with all the time. I have a couple Annas in my phone, so my reply was, 'Yes, bitch, we did it.'"
"Quite quickly I got a reply that said, 'How lovely, and we will all be waiting to see what you will wear," Gaga recalled. "And then I thought, 'Well won't you be helping me choose what I will wear?' And then I said, 'Oh! it's Anna Wintour.'" Fortunately for Gaga, Wintour, 61, seems to be a fan of her bold demeanor; the singer appeared in a December 2009 photo spread and covered the fashion bible's March 2011 issue.

COMIC SPOTLIGHT!

Gambit badass motha fucker (Remy Etienne LeBeau) a Marvel Comics superhero that has been a member of the X-Men.Gambit first appeared briefly in Uncanny X-Men Annual #14 (1990), weeks before a more comprehensive appearance in Uncanny X-Men #266 (August 1990). As of 2008, there have been two attempts at an ongoing title starring the character. Gambit also had two different miniseries and starred prominently in the X-Force replacement title during the Age of Apocalypse, Gambit & the X-Ternals.
As a mutant, Gambit possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy, as well as a hypnotic charm. He is also skilled in card-throwing, hand-to-hand combat, and the use of a Bō staff.
Few X-Men trusted Gambit, who was originally a professional thief, when he first joined the group. There was consistently a source of stress between him and his on again and off again, although longterm, love interest Rogue. This was exacerbated when his connections to villain Mister Sinister were revealed, although some of his team members accept that Gambit honestly seeks redemption. As the X-Men's self-described ladies' man, Gambit has shown a more vulnerable side of himself over the years, especially when it comes to Rogue. Gambit remains fiercely proud of his Louisiana heritage, and speaks in a very thick Cajun accent.
One of his older traits is that he used to be a smoker, along with Wolverine and various other characters. However, with Marvel EIC Joe Quesada's anti-smoking policy, this trait has completely vanished. During the Wolverine/Gambit limited series Gambit admits he is considering quitting.
Though he did not appear in the first three X-Men films, Gambit appeared on screen in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, portrayed by Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch.
Gambit was ranked 65th on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Heroes of All Time.

RIHANNA JUST SHOT A MAN DOWN!

R&B sexy singer Rihanna  has defended a controversial music video that shows her gunning down a man, saying it is a message of empowerment for girls. "Man Down" features Rihanna shooting a an awful mistake of a man who appears in the music video to have sexually assaulted her a day earlier. The Parents Television Council, the Enough is Enough campaign and think tank Industry Ears, have attacked the video as an act of calculated murder that will encourage young women to turn to violence. there are so so so many movies and video games, and other visual artistic forms of violence shown in videos, and i believe society knows a visual story when they see it, just like any large group of people, YES! there is gonna be an idiot that's gonna say, "Rihanna told me to shoot my man" but then its really, how long can we say the media really influences people? i saw "Kick-ass" and didn't start jumping off of buildings, i saw x-men and didn't try and attack the pentagon, relax America! let people express!
Rihanna told Black Entertainment Television (BET) on Thursday that "Man Down" addresses the topic of rape. The 23 year-old singer was the victim of a violent 2009 physical attack by then boyfriend singer Chris Brown. "Rape is happening all over the world and we continue to cover it up and pretend it doesn't happen,"Rihanna told BET in an interview. "Girls are empowered by this ... I'm just really impressed that my fans get it," she said. "That was really important to me. This is a story for them."She also told BET, which itself drew criticism for airing the video, that the girl she depicts is "not a cold-blooded killer" and she shows remorse about the killing. "I didn't do it to make a controversial video," Rihanna said. "I wanted to make a mini-movie, something raw and artistic."
Rihanna has also defended the video on Twitter. "The music industry isn't exactly Parents R Us! We have the freedom to make art, LET US! Its your job to make sure they don't turn out like US,"
The Barbados native also spoke of double standards that allow depictions of women being exploited in music videos. "Now a woman flips the coin & look!" she wrote.

"Man Down", the latest single from Rihanna's album "Loud", was released last week.
