AMANDA SEYFRIED: Big Mean Singing Machine

Amanda Seyfried
I first saw miss Seyfried in Tina Fey's adaptation of "Queen Bees & Wannabees" by Rosalind Wiseman.  It was fresh, new, and my generations "Heathers" and "Clueless" i can sit here for days and quote things like, "If you're from Africa why are you white?" but i loved the character Karen, the least showcased mean girl and probably the most subtly comedic. for some reason she just made me laugh the most genuinely. i honestly did not ever think i would see her again She then went on to other films including Nine Lives (2005) and Alpha Dog (2007). In 2008, after landing a lead role on a popular television series (Big Love in 2006) Seyfried appeared as Sophie Sheridan in the musical feature film Mamma Mia!. Other recent notable appearance include a supporting role in Jennifer's Body in 2009, and one of the two lead roles in Dear John the following year. She currently has three films in production.

I wanna talk about her voice box next, i wanna say, i had every true intention of seeing Batman: DARK KNIGHT only to find out that it was sold out, of course (major bummer) and so my friend and i decided, "what the hell, lets see mamma mia!" so we go in, we sit down, we start watching the flick, and the first vocals are Amanda as "Sophie Sheridan" and i was a little impressed, it was crisp and clean, not auto-tuned and iffy. and then! i'm on itunes and the song "Little House" from Dear John Comes on, now i have not seen the movie yet, i'm sure its "Amazing" lol and i'm sure its sad, but i'm gonna sit that one out til its on NETFLIX.  but man o man i love the song a lot! its very folky and reminds me a little of tracy chapman. so if you have not heard the song i suggest you hop on over to Itunes and give it a 35 second preview.

She has an upcoming movie Chloe coming out later 2010 and i must say it looks good, a challenging role that may show a bit more of the powerhouse that is amanda, i'm not a crazy fanatic, or trying to force my opinion, there is a "Thing" about her and  The Thing I like Most About her, is she seems like she would be a normal, kick-ass fun chick, not stuck up, not an elitist, not a power-tripping social queen montress, i love that she has balanced on fame so gracefully. i am a huge fan of the "Friedcat" yeah i just made that up, we tight like that.
